2ND innings (SENIOR CITIZEN CLUB), 1289 SEC.K, ASHIYANA, LUCKNOW

FOUNDER OF THIS GROUP:

CA Atul Dubey is neither a Senior Citizen nor any retired professional. Contrary to this hypothesis CA Atul Dubey is an energetic Young Gentleman in mid fifties having a standing of almost 3-decade roaring practice as a very successful Chartered Accountant. His success during a short span of 25-30 years is astonishing and still a dream for other practicing CA’s of almost similar standing.


But inspiration of his beloved father Late Ram Swaroop Dubey moved CA ATUL DUBEY from the core of heart and leaving behind his roaring practice of a successful CA now he has whole heartedly devoted his financial means, full personal attention, and all other infra structure under his command (which is worth following for a practicing professional) for the success and growth of 2ND INNINGS AND ITS FUTURE. Now his mission is no more financial and professional success but social service through the success and growth of his beloved mission 2ND INNINGS-SENIOR CITIZEN CLUB
Now we are having strength of +1150 senior Citizens and occasional meetings and functions are our regular feature. (For detail see our function and programmes).


2ND INNINGS MEMBERSHIP COMPONENT:
Our membership predominantly consist of highly educated Government, Semi-Government, Govt. undertakings retired Senior Executives of Central and State governments and of high class professionals. We have in our fold retired I.A.S., I.P.S., I.R.S., Senior and Middle Management Bank Executives, Doctors, Engineers, Advocates, Chartered Accountant(s), Yoga and Naturopathies, Teachers, Architect Engineers etc. The 2nd Half part of our component which consists of house hold senior citizen ladies who are well cultured predominantly active social minded workers .They are ready to support our social service cause from the fore front and ensure their notably active participation in each and every event of the organization. We have kept our area of operation in Aashiyana and L.D.A. Colony in order to have a cohasive, easy to meet, greet and to promptly address, attend and serve our members as per their needs.

MISSION OF GROUP:


A. Health Services
Our prime/ core concern was/is and will remain providing of best, prompt, hassalfree and personal health care services to our members for which we have tie up arrangement with best medical hospitals of our nearby area i.e. Apollo Medix, Ajanta Hospital and IFV center, SKD Hospital, Medanta Speciality Hospital. In addition to this we have tie up arrangement with other specific doctors clinics . Similarly, for pathalogical service support we have tie up with Care Pathalogy, Chandan Pathalogy and for medicine so many nearby chemists are providing services at concessional rate with prompt personal attention and also wherever possible at their door steps.
Our mission includes, providing our support to human cause through pledge of our esteemed members for Eye Donation, Organ Donation, Body Donation just after their passing away. Our members have come forward and have so far given +100 pledge letters for Eye donation. Our members are keen to offer pledge for organ and whole body donation. This oath/pledge of organ /whole body donation is in progress and we will be giving sizable number of pledge to KGMU &/or other hospitals who are working in this field during this year itself.
Our mission in health services encompass making our own Blood Bank in a nearby hospital, wherein ,willing young family members of our members will come forward and donate/ deposit their blood in the hospital, which would be in turn available for use of our members , as and when needed. Earlier , we had taken willingness letters from +50 such family members However now as a special drive we will create our own BLOOD BANK very soon.


B. Social Security Issues and environmental Issues

  • We know that living alone without children always causes concern to our members, specially at the fag end of their life. Even their regular day to day daily needs like Electricity, House tax and water charges payment, blocking of drainage system, high rising trees besides personal security are regular concern of our members. In this regard, they need our support by way of our representative’s accompanying with them to the concerned authority, discuss and get resolved their issue(s). Earlier we had made small committee(s) of our active and experienced members for Electricity department, Lucknow Nagar Nigam, Telephone and also for Police department. . Our efforts have yielded in prompt and positive /favorable responses from the concerned departmental heads.
  • We are happy to let you know that our newly elected M.L.A. from Sarojani Nagar constituency Dr. Rajeshwar Singhji has shown keen interest in our club’s vision/mission and he is impressed with our past services. On our first meeting with him we have given him 6 letters concerning various iuuses relating to civic services and other allied issues. He has already directed the concerned authorities and we are hopeful of getting most of the existing issues resolved promptly.
  • We have urged upon Dr. Singh to ensure that Civil work ( like road building, seavage cleaning, Dump clearing activities) is carried out with utmost transparency . We have also offered him support of our senior retired but highly experienced members to guide, monitor and to supervise these services. He has assured us to make different committee(s) for different purposes wherein our members will also be included.
